Tutorial D9 Wristop Computer Without Transmitter, Black Wriststrap Description

Underwater a diver must monitor several gauges to receive the crucial information about the dive: depth, time, tank pressure, decompression status and direction to name just a few. Suunto D9 combines all dive-critical information in one instrument, conveniently mounted on your wrist. Suunto D9 is the world's first dive computer to incorporate a digital compass. The compass shows the general direction with a graphical compass rose, as well as the exact bearing with a numerical display.Suunto D9 can be used with up to three different gas mixes containing 21-100% oxygen, allowing gas switching during the dive. Decompression calculations are based on the Suunto Deep Stop RGBM model, which provides iterative deep stops as an alternative to traditional safety stops. For those intending to go really deep, the maximum depth display is set at 200m [660ft].In addition to basic dive data, the built-in dive logbook provides a graphical dive profile where real time water temperature and tank pressure data can be analyzed on the wristop computer. Suunto D9 Diving with Trasmitter Collection
Case Diameter - 49 MM

Tutorial Suunto Men's D9 Diving with Trasmitter Watch SS011245300 Description

Suunto D9 is a highly advanced all-in-one dive computer. It combines all dive-critical information – such as depth, time, tank pressure, decompression status and direction – in one instrument, conveniently mounted on your wrist.

Wireless air integration
With optional wireless air integration, Suunto D9 allows you to monitor tank pressure and air consumption from your wrist. Tank pressure is displayed both numerically and graphically, and an estimation of the remaining air time is given throughout the dive.

Digital navigation
Suunto D9 displays a graphical representation of a compass rose. The rose displays the cardinal and half cardinal points, and the current bearing is also displayed numerically. A bearing can be locked to help you follow a selected course, and directional arrows point towards the locked bearing.

Multi-mode versatility
Suunto D9 has three dive modes. The Air mode is used for diving with standard air, the Nitrox mode for up to three nitrox mixes, and the Gauge mode for use as a bottom timer.

When in Nitrox mode, you can accelerate decompression by switching to a gas mix with a higher oxygen percentage. You can preset three different gas mixes (with between 21% and 99% oxygen) and set PO2 values for each individual gas. While diving, it's quick and easy to switch between enabled gas mixes.

In the Gauge mode, Suunto D9 works as a bottom timer and also provides accurate profile sampling and bookmarking functions. A dive timer with a reset function displays the dive time in minutes and seconds. This is extremely useful for timing accurate bottom times and decompression stops.

Flexible decompression
Using the Suunto Deep Stop RGBM algorithm, Suunto D9 enables continuous decompression for optimal ascent time. For deeper dives, the Deep Stop option adds further protection with a series of deep stops between your maximum depth and ceili

Used Scuba Diving Equipment - To Buy Or Not To Buy

!9# Used Scuba Diving Equipment - To Buy Or Not To Buy

[if ]

[endif]

In your search for cheap scuba diving equipment, if you have landed at the end of the road with no more options but to pay the full price, then you must re-think. A great way to save your hard earned dollars is to buy used scuba diving equipment. Sounds like a neat idea, right? It does. However, you must be prudent while buying used equipment. If you adhere to some basic instructions while shopping, then it is entirely possible that you can get a decent gear and save some good amount of money as well.

Where Not To Buy

You know what you want to buy. However, the next big step is to find where to buy. This is the most essential step. You might ask, "what's the big deal about where I buy"? Give it a thought, think twice and then you will get an answer to your own question. Scuba diving is a popular sport, and with enthusiasts on the rise by the day, fraudsters are also on the rise. So more than answering the question "where to buy", you must be aware of places from where "not" to buy.

With time and experience you are sure to develop a sixth sense about anything and everything to do with scuba diving. You will be better equipped to recognize a genuine scuba diving equipment vendor from a fraud vendor.

Buy From Professional Vendors

Most of the advertisers on the local ad columns will turn out to be private sellers and not a vendor or company. This can mean both good news as well as bad. Whatever your decision, you must ensure that you know what you are buying, after proper inspection.

When buying from a private seller, the good news could be that you may bag a steal deal and the bad news comes when you may find the steal deal is not-usable. That is where a vendor comes into picture. You can always return the faulty products if you bought from a vendor dealing in used equipment.

There are several fantastic alternatives out there if you are looking to buy used scuba diving equipment. However, if you are looking for used products that you can use for at least a few expeditions, then it is vital that you take proper care in selecting your seller. You may find several sellers, but it is essential that you find a reliable seller who can sell a genuine product, even though it's used.
